Our management group brings decades of experience in the healthcare services
sector, mostly in public companies.
Larry Gerdes - Chief Executive Officer
Mr. Gerdes has been involved in the healthcare services industry for more than
20 years. He has served as a director of Transcend Services Inc. and as Chief
Executive Officer since May 1993 when he and his partner, Walter Huff, made
their initial investment in the company's predecessor, Bottomley and
Associates. (Mr. Huff was the founder of HBO & Company in 1974 and remained
with that company until 1990.) In 1991, Mr. Huff and Mr. Gerdes formed an
investment partnership called Gerdes Huff Investments (GHI). They remain the
largest investors in Transcend.
Prior to Transcend, Mr. Gerdes held various executive positions with HBO &
Company (now McKesson) from 1978 to 1991, including Chief Financial Officer and
Executive Vice President. He also served as a member of the Board of Director.
Mr. Gerdes serves as a director of Alliance Healthcard and is active in several
private foundations and associations. He is a member of the Advisory Board for
the Graduate School of Business at Indiana University and a board member of
Tommy Nobis Systems, Inc. and the J. Kyle Braid Leadership Foundation.
Mr. Gerdes received a bachelor's degree from the University of Illinois and his
MBA from Indiana University.

Lance Cornell - Chief
Financial Officer
Mr. Cornell joined Transcend Services in
November of 2005 as CFO. He is a Certified Public Accountant
with over 18 years of experience in
accounting, finance, and financial
management, including controller and chief
financial officer positions with publicly
traded companies.
Prior to joining Transcend, Mr. Cornell
was Chief Financial Officer for nearly five
years at Facility Resources, Inc., a private
consulting firm specializing in
facility-related project management, systems
implementations and outsourcing for large
corporations. Prior to that
experience, Mr. Cornell served in chief
financial officer and controller positions
in two separate publicly traded companies in
the healthcare information systems industry.
Mr. Cornell received a bachelor's degree
in Finance with highest honors from the
University of Colorado.

Susan McGrogan - Chief Operating Officer
Sue McGrogan joined Transcend Services in January 2005 when Transcend purchased MDI.
Sue co-founded MDI in 1994, and has been involved in the medical transcription industry for
over 20 years. Sue is very happy to be a member of Transcend's team, and to continue to grow
the MDI division as a wholly-owned subsidiary.
Ms. McGrogan holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Florida.

Mr. Leo Cooper - Executive Vice President of Sales & Marketing
Leo Cooper has over 35 years experience in building and leading sales organizations, with an emphasis on healthcare technology and outsourcing solutions. Prior to joining Transcend, Leo was VP Sales and Marketing for White Plume Technologies a healthcare software company and SOURCECORP which provides processes and outsourcing solutions for Hospitals. From 1997-1999 Leo was Executive Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Transcend.
Mr. Cooper has a Bachelors degree in Business Administration (Marketing) from the University of Georgia.
