Rigorous training and ongoing evaluation
Transcend Services hires only the most talented professionals,
with no less than three to five years transcription experience
in either other transcription companies or healthcare organizations.
Before they can become a Medical Language Specialist (MLS) with
us, our recruits go through a rigorous testing and interview process.
Those that pass enter a training program and then must undergo
quality assurance testing in which all of their work is audited
until they reach a consistent quality level of 98 to 100 percent
accuracy. Subsequently, each Transcend MLS expert must undergo
periodic evaluations for accuracy and medical correctness. Results
of these audits are available to our customers.

MLSs a fast, reliable and secure means of completing their documents.
They also have access to 24/7 technical support, which includes
an expert-level document completion group, as well as ongoing
training and mentoring in transcription. Transcend utilizes The Association for Healthcare Documentation Integrity (AHDI) practices and
guidelines when possible, depending on the wishes of our customers,
and many of our professionals are active members of AHDI.
