Shailendra Sharma, CMT, as the Vice President of Professional & Support Services is leading the Professional Services and Customer Support Teams to deliver highly responsive customer services and process efficiencies. Shailendra joined the Transcend Team as part of the Heartland acquisition in October 2010 where he successfully led Customer Service, Production Operations, Workflow Management, Implementations, Client Services, and Product Management during his 13-year tenure. Using his in-depth knowledge of medical transcription, technical know-how and market dynamics, Shailendra successfully led an interdisciplinary team in 2009/2010 to integrate speech recognition into the technology and production environments.
Shailendra holds a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering along with an Associate’s Degree in Software & Hardware and Microsoft Office Certification. Shailendra is working on integrating the teams and creating a support structure that meets the demands of our growing business, especially as Transcend enters into the new markets with its products and service offerings.
